A WILHO (Wireless Hospital) development project for the health care sector, funded by the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (Tekes) FinnWell program, is currently ongoing in the Oulu region. WILHO is especially recognized as a project that develops hospital processes and wireless technology. Medanets is participating in the project as its industrial operator and commercializer of applications and operating models created by the research program.
WILHO's other operators are Oulu University Hospital, ODL Health, and the Centre for Wireless Communication research unit operating at the University of Oulu.
